04/04/14: March Favourites 2014

Although during March I haven't been as bloggerly as previous months, I'm still using and enjoying a variety of products which I'm going to share with you today!  [Sorry about the photo quality, I lost my memory card and had to rely on my phone for some of them.]

First up is actually a piece of jewellery.  I wear mostly silver jewellery and for Christmas my mother bought me a necklace by a brand called Kit Heath.  I recently was browsing their website and spotted a ring that I really liked, so... I bought it!  It was reduced significantly and arrived within four days of purchase.  At first I wasn't sure whether it was going to suit me, as I'm so used to the rings that I usually wear, but now I love it!

It's three interlinking silver bands, one of which is made up of little pebble shapes.

Next is the Vegan Kind Box #5 - in which I really liked the Greenfrog washing up and the Saf Coconut Cookies.  I'm excited to see that I can buy the Saf cookies made in Kensington at several retailers around the country as well as online.  They were sweet and crunchy and the mint and berry flavours made them a bit different.

See here for where you can buy them.  The Greenfrog liquid is the second item from that brand that has featured in TVK boxes, and I'm as impressed with this one as the spray that was in a previous box.  I will be looking to repurchase in the future.  The Spicy Chicks have been gifted to my mother who is a bigger fan of chickpeas, and the Harissa has been used in couscous to good effect. :)

Finally, my hand sanitizer from Dr Bronners and two shampoos by Avalon Organics.  I've just come to the end of my second bottle of this sanitizer and I'm planning on a third.  You can read my review of it here.  I just find it really handy to have around for spot cleaning brushes and reassuring myself that I'm not spreading germs around my face.

The Avalon Organics shampoos are Clarifying Lemon and Smoothing Grapefruit.  As you can tell, I like my citrus fruits!  I like the lemon as it leaves my hair feeling clean, and doesn't contribute to any build up on my scalp.  I use the lemon one first to clean and clarify and then the Grapefruit as a second wash.  The Grapefruit smoothing element makes my hair feel really smooth and silky.  At around six pounds each I think they're very reasonable and I've repurchased the Lemon one already.

What were your March favourites?
